Salvation

Do You Want To Be Saved?

Would you like to experience a peaceful and joyful life? If your answer is “Yes,” then you must believe within your heart that Jesus rose from the grave and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Savior and Lord, accepting Him in your heart, to lead your life–you are SAVED! Read the seven steps below to strengthen your faith.

Realize no one is good enough.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”  Romans 3:10

Recognize you are a sinner.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”   Romans 3:23

Remember that God loves you.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Receive God’s Gift.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”   Romans 6:23

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”  Ephesians 2:8

Repent of your sins.
“And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”  Mark 1:15

Required Action.

A –   Acknowledge:

“If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. “  I John 1:9

B –   Believe:

“Believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead,”  Romans 10:9

C –   Confess:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,”  Romans 10:9

Results – Salvation
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  Romans 10:13

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under the heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  Acts 4:12

If you have not done so already, you can take these steps by praying a simple prayer of commitment to God:

“Dear Jesus, thank you for making me and loving me, even when I’ve ignored You and gone my own way. I realize I need You in my life and I’m sorry for my sins. I ask You to forgive me. Thank You for dying on the cross for me. Please help me to understand it more. As much as I know how, I want to follow You from now on. Please come into my life and make me a new person inside. I accept Your gift of salvation. Please help me to grow now as a Christian. Amen.”
