(A) Second Baptist Church is a Bible based. Christ centered, Purpose driven and Holy Spirit led church that is making a positive impact in individuals, families and the city of Columbus, Ohio. We are a “Loving, Caring, Sharing” body of believers.

(A) Second Baptist Church hours of worship are:

  • Sunday Morning Worship: 10:45 am
  • Sunday School: 9:30-10:30 am
  • Wednesday “Sweet Hour of Prayer”: 11:00 am & 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday Bible Study: 12:00 pm and 7:00 pm

(A) Second Baptist Church is dedicated to seeing children and teenagers develop a spiritual relationship with Christ. There are many exciting and inspirational classes and activities for all age groups. Our church provides a nursery for infants and toddlers. We also provide a caring and secure environment for this age group while their parents attend worship services, as well as Sunday School classes from Kindergarten to Adult.

Upon entering the church you must follow these directions and answer the following Covid-19 screening questions:

1. Within the past 72 hours (3 days), have you had any new symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle or body aches, loss of taste or smell?
If yes, you will be asked to go home and follow up with your personal physician.

If no, you may stay.
2. Has anyone in your household been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 14 days?

If yes, you will be asked to go home.

If no, you may stay.

3. Your temperature will be checked. If you have a fever you will be asked to go home.
4. Everyone is required to wear a mask at all times while inside the church.
5. Everyone is encouraged to wash their hands or use the hand sanitizer posted throughout the church.
